I was reading a caucasian woman’s blog about the little girl that got run over by a truck in Foshan. I’m pretty sure everyone has heard about it and how no one ran to her aid. Well, this woman is ranting on and on about how grateful she is for her children and how she understands that God has created evil so that we may choose Him in our paths.
For someone that reads the Bible a lot, she sure still doesn’t understand God at all, it seems. Why is it so easy for religious people to point fingers and scream evil at everything? Judgements a sin, don’t you know? No one helped the little girl because they all fear extortion! It’s not a sin to be born into a society that governed differently than ours. Geez, get your nose out of the bible.
I grew up with a religious background, but the older I get, the more I realize that religion doesn’t have anything to do with my faith or God. It’s just a limitation and restriction on my knowledge and intellect. I’ve come to realize that religion confines my intellectual expansion and makes me a hypocritical, judgmental, false walking contradiction.
